2012 NCVF Volleyball Championships Tournament Registration             Registration NOW OPEN.     

Registration will be open for the tournament from January 2, 2012 - February 24,2012.

Teams must pay the NCVF Registration Fee and complete their online NCVF Team Registration, prior to registering for the tournament in order to receive the NCVF  Member Entry Rate. Note: Most conferences cover this fee for teams, so check with your commissioner if you are unsure.

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY and COMPLIANCE REMINDERS  

·            Club league/conference commissioners, event operators, teams and players are reminded that "good faith" compliance with all NCVF Governance Rules is the standard.

·            Club league/commissioners and event operators are reminded to use their best efforts to ensure material compliance with NCVF Governance Rules and standards.  NCVF Governance Rules are published on the NCVF Website.

·            Teams and players are urged to review the NCVF Governance Rules, including but not limited to team (Rule 3) and player (Rule 4) eligibility rules.  Teams and players should check with league/conference commissioners and event operators to determine whether or to what extent their league/conference or events meet NCVF rules and standards.

·            Consistent with NCVF Governance Rule 3.2(f), any league, conference or event competitions that use rules or competition standards that are not in material compliance with NCVF Governance Rules and standards may not be recognized for purposes of satisfying the competition or other requirements for NCVF rankings or entry into the NCVF National Championship Tournament.

·            By registering with the NCVF, teams and players affirm that they will comply with all NCVF Governance Rules and standards.

·            The NCVF retains sole discretion to determine material compliance with all NCVF Governance Rules and standards.

2012 NCVF CHAMPIONSHIPS SET FOR KANSAS CITY

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 26, 2011)  - The National Collegiate Volleyball Federation, in cooperation with USA Volleyball, has selected Kansas City and the Kansas City Convention Center Bartle Hall as the host city and venue for its 2012 NCVF Collegiate Club Championships to be played April 5-7, 2012. The event is run in partnership with USA Volleyball who is responsible for identifying venue options for the NCVF Championship Tournament.  Full Press Release

   CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2011 NCVF NATIONAL CHAMPIONS  - NCVF Crowns Nine Champions in Houston

USAV 4.3.3.1a: Uniform numbers must be clearly visible and centered on the chest and back.  Each jersey must use the same color and number height for all players except the Libero. Numbers must contrast with the jersey that they are printed on.  

USAV 4.3.3.1b:  Color combinations such as purple/black, dark grenn/black, navy/black, white/yellow or navy/maroon are not distinctive enough to comply with the rules.

USAV 4.3.3.2:  It is recommended that the numbers be a minimum of 15 cm (6") in height on the chest and a minimum of 20 cm (8") on the back.  The numbers must be a minimum of 10cm (4") in height on the chest and a minimum of 15 cm (6") in height on the back.  Teams that are purchasing new uniforms should go with the larger numbers.

2.     USAV 19.2a:  The Libero player’s jersey must contrast in color with that of the predominant colors of the jerseys of the other team members.  Color combinations such as purple/black, dark green/black, navy/maroon, and white/light yellow are not distinctive enough to comply with the rules.

NCVF TEAM REGISTRATION SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE 2011-2012 SEASON

By registering with the NCVF and for the National Tournament, teams and players affirm that they will comply with all NCVF Governance Rules and standards.  The NCVF retains sole discretion to determine material compliance with all NCVF Governance Rules and Standards.

How do I register my team to become a member of the NCVF?
Open registration for the 2011-2012 competitive season is NOW available for all teams.  Team captains can register team and player information online that will be utilized by all conference commissioners and tournament directors throughout the 2011-2012 competitive season to generate team rosters, verify player eligibility, and manage team/player information.  In addition, all NCVF registered teams will also be able to take advantage of member discounts, gain access to email lists/list serve functions, tournament posting and results features, member rates for national tournament, and numerous other NCVF benefits.  

NCVF Membership runs from December 1 - November 30 of each year.    Currently registered teams will have access to all NCVF benefits through November 30.   Registration is available for the 2011-2012 season for teams to renew their membership for the next year ahead of time AND for teams that have not previously registered. 

For teams with new leadership/officers, you will need to contact the previous officer to obtain login information to the registration system (username/password).  Due to security reasons, this information is encrypted and not available for us to retrieve from the system.   The previous officer can give you the required information or request for a password reset and the information will be sent to the email account on file for the team. 

2012 NCVF BOARD APPROVED GOVERNANCE RULE CHANGES     View Rule Changes 

These resolutions were approved by the NCVF Board of Directors in response to recommendations made at the 2011 NCVF Advisory Council Meeting in Chicago last summer.  Clarifications and minor changes to the Governance Rules are posted.  All teams are responsible for reviewing these changes for impacts to their team.
